Boerne ISD is very fortunate to have broadband high speed Internet access. Students have access to up to date information for research and writing projects. The campuses have up to date computer labs with IBM compatible Pentium 4 computers. Boerne ISD computer labs are networked with 100MB and 1000MB switched Ethernet to the desktop. All classrooms have access to broadband IP video/cable TV via the Ethernet.  All classrooms have LCD projectors installed and mounted in the ceiling.  Smart boards, scanners and digital cameras for technology integration in the classroom are becoming standard tools in every classroom.

The Internet provides teachers instant access to educational research, curriculum resources, lesson plans, and communication with educational resources. The wealth of information provides for opportunities to collaborate and encourages alternate instructional strategies. The infusion of technology has the net effect of enriching the curriculum and the delivery of curriculum at Boerne ISD schools.

There are many ways to integrate technology into education and the delivery of curriculum to students; electronic publishing; streaming media, electronic process writing; information searches; and problem-solving are just a few.
