Mrs. Arreguin's Third Grade Class participated in an exciting videoconference with Mr. Henderson's Third Grade Class from Devon, Alberta, Canada!! Prior to the videoconference, descriptive instructions for creating an elf were exchanged between the classes.  Mrs. Arreguin's class sent instructions to Mr. Henderson's class and vice versa.  How well were the instructions written??  How well were the instructions followed?? These questions were answered in the 'unveiling' of the elves.  Students exchanged ideas on how to improve their own instructions.  The elf unveiling was followed by a question/answer period regarding the respective communities.  We learned Devon, Alberta was the coldest place in the world on Sunday, December 13 -- 45 degrees below 0!!!
